I always find enjoyment in going to the zoo even though it takes 3 hours to get there. These are sketches from this and last week. my favorite animal is the polar bear... wish when ever I visit them they would be more active but anyway still love see them. The last three pages are from the rom.

Quickies at the zoo and park

Yesterday I had gone to the zoo to get some quick animal studies and just for the heck of it. I thought to myself, I always go to the rom to draw the stuffed animals why not try drawing them while they are moving. These drawing are loose and gestural, I was just trying to capture the action. Never had time to think, just do. Next time I go I'll try to get into longer stuff. Also there are some tennis sketches I was doing at the park today.
